Recreation
Wadsworth is the site of a wetlands demonstration project and has trails for walking, biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing. Canoeing is also a favorite sport with a canoe launch located east of U.S. Rte. 41 on Wadsworth Road. The village has a community park which consists of a ball field, tennis and basketball courts, playground equipment, ice skating pond, shelters, 3/4 mile jogging trail, and sledding hill.
Schools
Four elementary school districts and two high school districts serve Wadsworth. Most of the Village falls within Gurnee Elementary District #56, which has an enrollment of 1,772 students, and Warren Township High School District #121, which has an enrollment of 2,603 students. There is one parochial school in Wadsworth.
