Dear New Home Owner,
It’s hard to believe that almost a year has gone by since you moved into to your new home! Hopefully, all of the stress and activity of that major life event is past history and you and your family have your lives back again.
I am sure we don’t have to remind you that your one-year builders warranty on your new home will expire usually within the first year. Many times the one year warranty expiration marks the final opportunity to professionally identify, document and inform your builders and local code officials (if necessary) of items that need repair, upgrades, manufactures warranty involvement, needed improvement or items that were not done properly first time. All of these items should be corrected or at least professionally documented to give you future legal recourse BEFORE your builder is relieved of their responsibility under the one-year warranty.
Home Buyers Advocates specializes in new home construction inspections, warranty inspections, consulting and educated, effective negotiations with builders to provide the quality home you deserve. We will thoroughly inspect your new home and develop and comprehensive list based on industry standards on warranty issues that are covered by your builder. Our detailed and comprehensive inspections reveal items that were not originally done properly, many times these items are major defects that can have high costs to correct and significantly devalue your home. You should not be paying again for corrections and upgrades that should have been done right the first time.
Protect your investment and call us to schedule your warranty inspection. Typically, our inspection takes about two hours and will provide you with a comprehensive 35-page report the next day, ready for presentation to your builder.
